Javelin Saw Doctor was established by Donald Jowett in 1992 who runs the business alongside wife Shirley Jowett.

The origin of the name Javelin Saw Doctor comes from the family surname and the Jowett Javelin car.

The company started in a small unit in Balfield Road Dundee but has since moved to Fairfield Street where they are located today.

Javelin Saw Doctor specialises in the sharpening, servicing and maintenance of all types of cutting tools and machinery for the professional trade, and the domestic user.
